I was born seeing the beauty in all things. How? Why? It's so easy to me. Inspiration comes from just about everything and I can find it everywhere. The colors of the leaves that fall to the ground during the seasonal changes. The smile of a stranger passing me by on the street. The formation of clouds even on a gloomy day. In traditional Japanese aesthetics there is a term called wabi sabi. Wabi Sabi is viewed as the acceptance of transience and imperfection. "The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete." For example when a ceramic bowl is broken, it is glued back together and the cracks are filled with gold, the bowl was beautiful in its original form and now becomes even more beautiful now that it's been broken. Something gets to fill the cracks and add to the character of the bowl. This concept I apply to life, people and situations. When I feel cracked and broken, Divine energy gets to fill my cracks, making me even more beautiful that I was before. The same with situations that didn't work out or the loved ones that move into a even more beautiful place then earth. No matter what happens choosing to see the beauty in all things is good for your health.
